To our longtime companion, colleague and friend. The team is extremely appreciative of everything that you shared and everything that all of us have shared. We have for the last like 5 to 6 years encountered many things work or outside of it. Challenges in terms of our deliverables, but we have got pass all of that, and that is because of you. The wealth of expertise you have shared, the friendship you have extend to us and the advice you have shared as well over the years. We may be heading to our separate ways but know that you have friends in us, you can stay in touch with us no worries. And we are hoping in the future that if the stars have aligned that we may see each other personally this time. Thank you very much for basically everything. We appreciate it very much and thankful for the years we've shared. To our future! Cheers! :)

I don't even know what to say, or how to express everything that I feel that have led up to this point. *laughs

It's been a heck of a ride with you for the past couple of years and I just want to say how I am thankful to have stayed in the team with your leadership. Looking back, I remember being very sheepish to even open my microphone to lead the live coding from the very firsts of Olive Syncs. The journey was long and I know how much I've grown because you continued to push me beyond my limits. You have never let the team feel we're working under a boss, but we get to live working with a friend like what any other employee's looking for: a positive working environment.

I am full of gratitude that you've recognized the effort the team has put into this project - as well you entrusting me with tasks I never thought I deserved.

It will always be a joy to me to be a part of Olive, one if not the longest standing project in Knowable because I had you illuminating the path towards the very dark and confusing world of legendary Pokemon and complicated data models.

I learned how to cope with difficulties, learned to adjust to constructive feedback and reasoning, as well as keeping myself levelheaded whenever my thoughts do not align with the guidance - more because of You.

And I, we, team Olive, thank you.

As you continue onward with your pursuits in life, may you be rewarded with achieving your goals and blessings beyond your expectation. Until then, I'll manifest that future where we gather around a table, drinking coffee, sharing snacks and stories of our lives before, during and after smOlive.

Although our interactions last year were brief, I wanted to take a moment to let you know just how much I and the entire Olive team, truly appreciate you. Your support, positive energy, and the meaningful connections you've built within the team have made a lasting impact.

It’s clear how well-loved and respected you are by everyone here. Your presence has not only brought a sense of stability through the strong foundation and process knowledge you shared, but also a sense of joy through the laughter and lightness you brought to our weekly meetings.

It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially after years of working together. But please know that your contributions, guidance, and the memories you created with the OG Olive team will not be forgotten.

We genuinely hope that, in the future, whether you find yourself visiting or we meet again in Poland, we get the chance to reconnect. Thank you once again for all the learnings, support, and camaraderie you've given us.

Hiya Jakub!

The past few years of working with you in Olive has been really fun. The small talks in Olive Syncs were always something unique. You always make sure to keep yourself updated on the latest PH news (and sometimes we're not even aware of it despite living here lol).

Thank you so much for always being collaborative and for always making sure the team has a safe space in sharing their concerns and even having those back and forth discussions on the topics that we have.

Thank you as well for all the insights shared as well as the random conversations and fun facts. I will especially miss those Kahoot topics about anything and everything under the sun.

You've truly made a mark on the smOlives team and your kindness and quirkiness will always stay with us regardless of where we may be. I know that kind of bond is something that will definitely stay with them forever. Btw, you're still always welcome to visit the PH, we promise not to force you to swim with sharks (kidding!).

I wish you even better things ahead, whichever career or company you decide to be in. This is not goodbye but it's definitely see you around. Best of luck, Jakub! Thanks for everything!

In retrospect, I see how I’ve come this far because of the team. Four years have changed my life and being able to stick with a few people is indeed a blessing. Funny how I would usually get nervous before the meeting especially when I know it’s my turn to present. However, live codings really helped me to learn and I’d thank you and the rest of the members for that.

Amid this transition, I’ve been uneasy, everything unfamiliar is also uncomfortable. But I always hold on to my favorite phrase Semper ad Meliora, which means ALWAYS toward better things. I hope you hold on this, too.

Like the lyrics of Us Again, one of my favorite Seventeen songs, I look forward to the days when we meet again.

This may be an ordinary farewell, but I hope right things will also align for you. Thank you for your hard work, Jakub.

Hello sir kuba, dzien dobry. I am writing this as I am thinking of the times we spent together at work. To me, you're a really cool man. Authentic, straightforward, curious, honest, knowledge-seeking guru. But personally, you're one of the beacons of my life because you've taught me a lot, along with the entire team. You have given me many chances to improve and provided logical but also effective advice not only at work but also in my personal life. I am always looking up to you, like a child to a father. You have always treated us with professional courtesy with authentic individual touch. We may only have been for a few years, but I am sure that the moments we had together will be kept for my lifetime. You made a huge impact in my life, for all my short comings you always tried to understand me first before you tell me about it. I also like how curious you are in our situations, in our country that sometimes I even fail to notice like a stranger to our own land. As have said before I am stubborn man and, in this case, maybe it's not really bad to be stubborn in choosing not to move on. Instead of moving on, I realized I could just reach out to you anytime outside work comms xD. Talking about our team, we made huge progress in being a team. We successfully passed the certifications together in a productive and efficient way with just some minor errors. The future of team olive will always carry your torch of hope, that we will always try to stay standing grounded on our culture of teamwork, collaboration, camaraderie, trust, and mutual understanding which you are part of. You will always be part of our team, no matter where you go. I understand that it is difficult for everyone but as you said, it is another opportunity to grow. Grow outside olive, while together. I promise you sir kuba that I will keep on trying to live up with your ideals of a good member in the corporate world and outside of it, generally as a better person with a better character through your advice. Thank you so much sir kuba! I wish you anything best according to your preferences. I wish you find better opportunities also in your next line of work. We will always remember you sir kuba. Thank You everyone, it was an amazing adventure! I will remember you all - Eula, Gem, Jansen, Dave, Fifi, Jen, Mitch, and Leonid - we, together, made the Olive. And as smOlives, we will after gaining the experience together, sharing laughs with good and funny moments also we had some tricky or stressful times too. We really had everything here. As the next challenges will came along, the smOlive will survive in us, as values, to never give up, and take the issues head-on. I know you will succeed! Represent the smOlive outside proudly!
