It was there first before the cities. When there is nothing else there is nature and the cities are overrated. 

Nature is not trying to be scary. It is inviting and will be there when you need it. You can leave everything behind and take a walk and it will be fine. 

The song relates to the tenant because the whole song is about nature. In the song, it says “On the trees you can sleep, and the moon will make you smile” it is saying nature is always going to be here. You make cities and home, but nature is what started everything and it is important.

She needs to trust herself to win. She needs to make sure that she lives doesn’t matter about anyone else. 

Katniss needs to have trust in herself in what she already knew. She knew lots of things that were poisoned and need to trust herself when she said there were poisonous. Katniss did that with the berries, she knew that they were poisonous, so she did not eat them. 

She had only herself to rely on to make sure she survived. She had to make sure that she didn’t really trust anyone unless she absolutely had to.

He knew that he was alone, but later he wouldn't be. He had to trust himself that he could do it. Once he became the first African American MLB baseball player people started to like him. He was alone, but in the long run, he knew he wouldn't be. 

He didn't conform to the rest of the baseball players. He was African American and the rest were white. He didn't listen to the people that told him he couldn't do it.

This song relates to the quote because it is saying no matter what you have and what you are going through life is going to keep moving. The water in the river doesn't stop because something you have. At the end of that day, everyone is a human and is that same. 

The song is very simple, they don't care what they have. As long as you have people that care about you around you. It relates the quote because it says that we should accept what happens in our life. Bethany accepted and changed it. She wanted to prove everyone wrong that she could actually do it. 

This shows that Bethany believed in her self and all the odds were against her. She proved everyone wrong and she did it. She started surfing again and did well.
