They can pay for food, and water as well as a roof over their head. However I would say that they wouldn't be able to buy a mansion or something like that. They are a stable community with a decent living situation. I would say if I try to live in their condition it would take me some time to accustom and grow to their community. They definitely not like us, who can buy phones and 1000 dollar beds.
