Gardening Club is designed to encourage those currently serving, ex-forces personnel, and their families to socialise while taking part in light gardening to maintain a memorial space dedicated to Blackpool FC players who lost their lives during the First World War. Our Gardening Club is free to attend, during the summer months our Gardening Club is held every Tuesday and in the winter months the group meet monthly to maintain the upkeep of the memorial space. Veterans Walk and Talk sessions promote socialisation while helping participants access weekly moderate exercise. Following the walk around the scenic grounds of Stanley Park, participants are invited to attend our well-being hub at Blackpool Cricket Club within the grounds of Stanley Park to continue their conversations, enjoy a drink and relax. Our monthly Breakfast Club is designed to unite those currently serving, ex-forces personnel, and their families to share stories and memories and socialise. In addition to our NAAFI Break, this once-a-month catch-up allows participants who live further afield to attend and provides an additional session for those who can’t regularly attend NAAFI. Participants can enjoy food and a warm drink while attending Breakfast Club. The sessions take place on the first Tuesday of every month at The Grange. Our NAAFI Break is open to those currently serving, ex-forces personnel, and their families, the sessions aim to bring like-minded people together to socialise and build new friendships. Participants can pre-order a breakfast sandwich for the session. If you require a butty (Bacon, Sausage, Vegan, Egg) or fruit ordering, please call or leave a text message with Ian McCleary on 07756854034 by close of play the Monday before, at a reduced cost of £2. You can pay at the Corner Flag restaurant either by cash or card. There will also be a free cup of Tea/coffee.. Our NAAFI Break takes place every Wednesday at the Corner Flag restaurant at Bloomfield Road.

We aim to promote the importance of an active lifestyle whilst allowing participants to engage in friendly competition including the opportunity to represent Blackpool FC at tournaments and fixtures against other armed forces teams. Lancaster City FC have created 2 new military veterans football teams for the new North Lancashire Military Veterans Football League, regulated by Lancashire FA. We will be hosting a charity football match in-between our regular fixtures for Remembrance Day 2024. Please consider joining us, and sharing this flier to reach as many people as possible. All proceeds will go towards supporting our team of almost 50 North Lancashire military veterans through their first appearance in the bespoke military veterans football league.

M4H have a new venue in Lancaster which is easily accessible for those with disabilities.

We now hold sessions once per month at Dolly's Diner at the Giant Axe stadium.

For those travelling by bus, you can get the umber 11 which stops right outside the Giant Axe car park.

There will be free hot drinks provided.
