         <title>Using the standards to help plan a unit works well for me.  First I determine a final goal I want to reach by the end of my unit.  Then I plan a broad starting point for all learners.  We work toward a midpoint assessment. Based on the assessment, I will either reteach or move onto the next step.  Then bring it all together in a final assessment/evaluation.</title>
