You then choose a photograph you want to use and open in it a seperate tab on photoshop, and then crop out a part of that photo that you think would look best for a tessellation and make sure that it is the size that you gridded the templet out to. Once you place the photo on top of the template and fit it into the guides, you then duplicate the layer and line it up with the original as well as with the guid. Then you either flip the photo horizontally or vertically. You copy the last three steps until you have filled out the entire template and then merge visible.
