An endangered species is a species that is in danger of going extinct by being hunted for human resources. I chose the Arakan Forest Turtle and it is going extinct because they are being hunted for food and medicine. Another reason for their future extinction is the burning of bamboo and deforestation of the forest. One way we can help the Arakan forest turtles is by protecting the land they live on that is being destroyed for farmland.

One the main reasons that panda populations have declined is habitat destruction. As the human population in China continues to grow, pandas' habitat gets taken over by development, pushing them into smaller and less livable areas.
