The 10th grade text seems to get rid of some of the filler information and focuses on some of the main details about turtles and the medical journey they took to save ricotta.

As soon as I turned it on it directly translated the words that were on the screen and as I moved the slide show I had it translate, it translated pretty quickly. There was one hiccup I had where it was having issues but once I moved my camera around it worked again. I also liked how when I moved my camera, the perspective stayed the same, like it looked like the words were actually on the screen, which is just a little thing but I thought it was cool. I could definitely see this being helpful, especially for those articles that didn't translate in the google translate online.

There is a games section on both Pebble Go and Pebble Go next which is comprehension based and helps students practice their knowledge. There is also a question of the day which is not related and is just a fun voting question. There is also a wheel button which randomizes an article for you to read if you don't know which one to pick. Finally, there is a reading page which provides lots of different books, fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels which read the words to you and turn the pages.

Resources for rhythmic patterns - 2nd grade

I kept with the music standard for grade 2 which includes rhythmic patterns. Chatgpt gave me specific youtube channels to look at that match the standard I want to meet as well as specific videos with descriptions that I could use. It also gave me specific websites that students could use as a resource to practice rhythms by playing and creating them. The websites it provided seem similar to the simulations that it suggests. The simulations seem to be resources that allow students to practice rhythms by playing and creating them. I was a little disappointed by the games, the first one it provided is a good app that I would see helping students learn rhythm patterns, it suggested kahoot quizzes but not a specific quiz that would be helpful, also I don't know if kahoot quiz would be the best way for students to learn rhythms. Bop It could be a fun game to play when there is extra time but still want to be able to practice rhythms but wouldn't be something I immediately go towards. Finally the infographics section says to look on TPT or Pinterest for good options on rhythm posters but I would already think to look for infographics on these platforms so I don't think I would need AI to do this.

I do see how this can be helpful, I would definitely use it to find videos of websites because there are sooo many to look through but I feel like the rest of the resources it provded I could find myself.

Music standard (rhythmic patterns) - 2nd grade

I chose the music standard for 2nd grade which includes rhythmic patterns. The choice board that it created includes many different forms of showing knowledge of the standards and gives students different modalities. I like how in this magic school resource that you can ask it to give more descriptions of each assignment that it gives and also ask it to give a material list so you don't have to do more research than you have to. Thinking of all of these different assignments on your own or try to find different assignments and put them together into one choice board can be time-consuming and by using this resource it can save a lot of time but still come out with good, quality assignments.
