During my 2024 to 2025 Christmas holiday, I went to Ambon, which is where I usually go to for holiday during Christmas. Ambon is where my mom is from, during the 13 days that I had in Ambon, I had a lot of fun, I went to the beach to swim and I also went fishing near the sea, and also met my family that I had missed and not meet in a long time. I also went to another island using a small boat which is called Saparua Island, it took me 60 minutes to go to from Ambon. I had a lot of fun also there, as it is not a very populated island so there is still a lot of nature. After I had spent 13 days at Ambon, on Friday I went back home to Surabaya using a plane.

Germany’s has a unique pre-wedding tradition that still continues even in the modern times. In my opinion, the Polterabend Tradion that Germany does is a good and unique pre-wedding tradition or celebration . The reason the Germany does the Polterabend tradition is because it has a meaning that the day before the wedding, stoneware and porcelain but not glassware, is violently smashed by friends and family in order to chase away evil spirits, and bringing good luck to the couple. Even though some people might think it’s outdated and question its relevance in modern times, Polterabend still remains as a tradition that people still do.

I think, in my opinion it’s a good tradition to do. Not only is it believed to bring good luck to a married couple, but is also believed that it could chase away evil spirits, and it’s a old tradition that people still do, so it’s a good tradition to continue.
