I've finally moved into a new house, and have been working to get a college education. I have my own crops now. I grow and sell corn, but I still help the others in the garden.

I may still be alone, but the workers of the garden feel like my family.

I eventually won Lateesha over, settled down in a nice house, and started a job as a gym trainer. I've been working hard, so I can feed my two month old, son. to be honest, I'm really nervous about parenting!

Its been five years since I first started the garden. Every year I have always been the first one to plant. Always lima beans. I wish my father could have seen it. he would have been proud. My sister has left to go to college, so now its just my mother and I. It is the summer before I have to go to high school. I already have a perfect spot to plant my lima beans

The boy I hired 5 years ago has moved away so I havn't been doing much work in the garden. I found another

boy willing to help. he was nine years old. he wanted to grow peaches, but I told him that it was to cold here. he decided on carrots instead.

lately my friends have been teaching me about how to speak English. People are friendly to me. I've been getting tips for my plants and for my English. I feel like I'm finally starting to fit in to this community.
