Brian Epstein played a key part to the Beatles success. He was the owner of a music shop. One night he saw the Beatles performing in a place called the cavern club and he saw the potential in them. He then became the manger of them and went on to get them bigger gigs performing. He also changed the look of the Beatles from a rugged style to a clean and sharp one. Which would probably go to help them in sales knowing at the time people wanted musicians to be well dressed and proper. Finally he got them a producer that helped create the sound that made them so beloved, That man went by the name of George Martin.

George Martin was the producer of The Beatles throughout their whole career. As a Producer he was the key factor to their sound. He was responsible for a big change for The Beatles he decided that their drummer Pete Best wasn't a good enough drummer for the band. In 1962 they got a replacement his name was Ringo Starr. His style of playing drums was the backbone to the beatles sound.

During 1963-1966 The Beatles drop two albums "Please Please Me" and "With The Beatles" and the albums became very successful. They were so popular they actually were able to do something no other person in music had done before them, that was sell merchandised. Most bands now days make most of their profit off of selling merchandised if it wasn't for the Beatles business side of music wouldn't be the same.

Even though the Beatles were very popular in the U.K. they didn't try to go to America right away and tour. The reason why was because many other bands who tried going to America from the U.K. had failed. They would only go to America if they had a hit song there and In 1963 they accomplished this with the single "I Want To Hold Your Hand". They came to America and performed on a very important TV show called the Ed Sullivan show. During that performance they made history there was said to be 73 million viewers which is something truly amazing. They had the power to bring that many different people to watch them which not only can say how special music is to people but how special the Beatles are to people
