Qn1: Is the ultimate reason for infinite life to become buddha (成佛)? / does it means becoming Buddha you will not face infinite life anymore and continue to help the People or they will still have a afterlife?

Qn2: my understanding of infinite life is to complete wisdom, which is like to get better at the end of the day. Then why do we need to drink the Meng po tea (孟婆汤). Or erase our past life memories?

We have been taught to think of Buddha as an excellent being, yet Buddha has cautioned us to contemplate his teachings. It is very easy to blindly believe in someone that we trust. E.g. Believe in our doctors that they run our diagnosis correctly, Halo effect on someone therefore not questioning whatever he says. How do we be mindful and stop ourselves from blindly believing?

For the lesson on leisure of life and opportunities, one of the aspect of opportunities is “Buddha has visited”.

Actually I do feel that there’s a gap between me and the Buddha when we are doing the vast offering in class using the electric candles. What are we actually offering since it’s like uk fake… and I focuses on the chant instead but I overheard we are supposed to imagine something, what is it?

And does any of our class monitor feel the same? That with digitalisation and technologies, it can be hard to connect with the Buddha? If yes, have you found the answer to how to not feel that way or an explanation behind why these offerings can be replaced with smtg that’s “fake”
