He wanted to find love and as he falls in love with Belle throughout the story we start to see how the beast is truly a good guy and not evil.

They are tricksters because they attempt to trick the prince into marrying them by cramming their feet in the lost slipper (to make it look like it fits). Symbolic Archetype: Colours 
Despite the innocence of Little Red Riding Hood herself, the colour of her hood represents something much more malicious and gruesome. At least in the common literature, the colour red represents blood and sacrifice. The plot develops this archetype through the deaths of Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother. Hercules was taken by the two evil characters  ("pain and panic") working for Hades. These two characters are Loyal Retainers of the Evil figure Hades.
The Fall was when they turned Hercules human with a potion and they took him out of Olympus to live as a human.  Baby Hercules did not drink the last drop of the potion which gave him some power.
Hades was the evil figure that tried to defeat Hercules the entire movie.
 Hercules went on a journey to reunite with his father after a statue of his father speaks to him. Hercules has phill train him to become a hero. Phill is the mentor for Hercules. The friendly beast, is the gift from Hercules' father which was a pegasus who was always by his side.
Hercules saves Meg, the damsel in distress who was originally working for Hades. Meg is not a classic Damsel in distress and can also be classified as a Temptress who was hired by Hades to find out the weaknesses of Hercules.
Meg and Hercules fall in love on their adventure. The battle between good and evil is between the Gods in Olympus, (Good) and the Titans and Hades (evil) which are in the underworld. Olympus is like heaven and the underworld is like hell in this heaven vs hell story.

The Battle Between Good and Evil is an archetype that can be easily identified within the fairy tale. Readers can observe that Cinderella is a kind, beautiful, and good person. For instance, despite all the mistreatment she went through, Cinderella forgives her step sisters, and continuous to treat them as family. On the other hand, there is Cinderella's step mother who aims towards bringing her down. Due to the step mother's jealousy, Cinderella is forced to work hard and do dirty jobs. This is a great example of the battle between good and evil, as readers can observe the antagonists attempt to bring down hero. However, despite the attempts of the evil step-mother, good prevails over evil and Cinderella lives happily ever after.
