A circle shaped cheese is dropped from the top of the hill, more specifically a Double Gloucester cheese. The track has about 180 meters of descent, with the cheese reaching a speed of about 100km/h.

During the June festivals in Brazil, typical dances are held, such as quadrilhas . There is also the production of numerous foods based on corn and peanuts, such as canjica, pamonha, pé de moleque, as well as drinks such as quentão. Another very common feature is to dress like a hillbilly in a caricatured way.
Initially, the party had a strong religious tone, a connotation that was lost in part, since it is seen by many more as a popular than a religious festivity.

Me and my friends will talk about a very gorgeous and fascinating festival, the Festival of Lights.

First, just to explain why I choose this photo; when I was a kiddo I watched this movie called Tangled and It was inspired in this festival (just a scene).

So, this festival happens in twelfth month of the Thai lunar calendar, in our calender, in November.
Actually, this festival refers to another two very similar festivals, Yi Peng Festival and Loy Krathong Festival. But exists one evident difference about them. In the Yi Peng you would see a swarms of lanterns in the night sky. And in the Krathong you would see thousands of lotus-shaped baskets with candles and flowers floating above the river.
In this festival you can send all negative energy and problems to the sky. Sounds awesome right? According to Buddhist belief, throwing the lantern into the air brings good luck, especially if it disappears from view in the dark sky.
The streets and temples are decorated with colorful paper lanterns and flowers. Many stalls are set up to sell flowers, baskets and incense.The city is fully mobilized for everyone go to the celebration.   

Two beautiful religious ceremonies at the same time, with illuminated rivers and skies, filled with offerings and prayers.

The day that is celebrated is the 31st of October and it represents the "end of summer" and the beginning of winter. Back in the day they believed that, in that day the dead could walk among the living.
Now a days, the usual thing is, the children going door to door asking people for candy. Normally the kids are dressed with scary movie characters.
