Back in junior high school, I studied at Luray II National High School, where I experienced many unforgettable and meaningful moments. Then, I continued my senior high school at Pau Excellencia Global Academy Inc., a private school, and took the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand in Toledo City, Cebu.

Now, I am currently taking a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management at Cebu Technological University in Tuburan Campus. This course is helping me grow not only in academics but also in building my confidence and improving how I interact with people.

I also have a habit of taking photos whenever something catches my eye. It could be a beautiful sunset, a peaceful moment, or something simple yet meaningful.

Another big achievement is being in college. With all the financial hardships we faced, I never thought I’d get this far. My first year was full of pressure, doubts, and tears, but I held on through faith and determination. Now in my second year, I’m grateful for how far I’ve come. I’m still fighting, still believing, and learning to trust God’s plan for my life.

I’ve learned to be responsible in my own ways like helping at home and supporting my siblings. I try not to depend too much on others. Even when I’m scared or tired, I push myself to keep going because I know I have a purpose.

Everything I’ve been through in life, my only true strength has been my family.
They are the reason I keep moving forward and the reason I refuse to give up.

These experiences shaped me into someone who fights through difficulties, keeps trying no matter what, and believes that every struggle has a reason and a lesson behind it.

Since I was young, I’ve had a soft heart for others. I remember going to the market with my mom and seeing street children. Even then, I wished I could do something to make them feel seen and loved.b I also feel deeply for the elderly I see begging on the streets, often going all day without food. It breaks my heart, especially when I have nothing to give. That’s one of the reasons I work hard—because one day, I want to be able to help those who have less. Every Christmas and New Year, I include the homeless in my prayers. Even if I didn’t have much, I always asked God to watch over them, feed them, and make them feel they’re not alone.

I dream of finishing college, getting a stable job, and making my family proud. I want to build a future where I can be a blessing to others. My biggest inspiration is my family and myself. They are my strength, and they remind me why I keep going. I also look at my own journey everything I’ve been through and it inspires me to continue fighting for a better life. I know that one day, all the sacrifices will be worth it.

Another funny memory was with my dad and his friend named Marso (March). One day, his friend came looking for him, and instead of saying the right name, I said, “Pa, Kuya Mayo (May) is looking for you!” Everyone burst into laughter I had completely mixed up the months! And whenever I watch movies with my parents, I like to make things more entertaining. One of my favorite pranks is to take a shoelace and quietly wrap it around my sister’s or my dad’s leg. They always freak out, thinking it’s a snake, and I can’t stop laughing! I also love saying random, made-up words just to get everyone laughing. It’s those silly little moments that make our family time more fun and unforgettable.
