This book is very special to me because my Tia Luz (Aunt) gave this book to me as a gift, when she always comes back to visit me. I like how this book tells a story about a girl who has everything, from fancy dresses, to food on the table, and then loses it all. This book really moved me because it made me realize how grateful I should be for everything that I have.

This book will keep you laughing, but at the same time, shows how african-americans faced life in the 1960's. This is a one of my all time favorites, and I definitely recommend it too.

Well first of all it's about a kidnapping, second of all, people might think i'm a bit on the weird side. But I didn't care what people thought, I just got it, and the second I started to read it, I was hooked. How will Cristina escape? Or more importantly, or more importantly will she clear her name for "stealing"money from her grandmother, and fake her own kidnapping? So many mysteries in one amazing book.

I came across this book at my local library, and when I read the back of the book, I felt like this book was interesting enough to read for this project, so i checked it out. This book is about Julius Caesar and his adventures, about other empires. He learns how to be a leader for his people, since his dad is gone. Overall, I would recommend this book for someone who is looking to know a little more about Rome.

And thats exactly what this book did, it really opened my eyes, and touched my heart, how nice people can be, when your going through the unimaginable. Personally, I really like to read a good mystery book everyone in a while, but I felt I needed to try something new. At our school library, I came across, this book called "Its Kind of a Funny Story". I picked up the book and even though, it was weird and new at the same time, I soon kind of liked it. I feel like in order to really get to know a book, you really have to push through those first few chapters. This book is about a teenager Craig, who has thoughts of committing suicide. He goes to a mental hospital and learns other peoples story, and how they got in the same place as him. This book really opened my eyes and really get a feel for people who don't look like me, or feel like me.

When I first read to book sisters, I really liked the way the author wrote the stories, as well as illustrate characters very well. Another reason I really liked this book, is because it takes place of 7th and 8th grade, so I can definitely relate to the characters especially in this time period of your life. This book takes you in the journey of one girls middle school play. She might not be the star of the play, but she is the star of some juicy love drama.

After reading sister, and drama I needed to find this book. When staying at my cousins house, I saw she had the book and immediately opened it up and started to read it. This book takes you along in the authors real life story about when she broke her two front teeth. Raina, in 6th grade obviously devastated, at the fact that she has to go to school now.

Our unit in Language arts was about survival. And When mrs.Z explained a little bit what the book was about, I knew almost immediately I had to take it. When reading this book, It was really interesting at the beginning because you kind of have to fill in some pieces as you go along the book. But the more I read the more I got bored of it because I felt that they were all going to die or something, but during the end a bunch of things happen at once, and you really don't have anytime to process it, you just have to keep on reading util you finish it!
