so of course, me being me, i packed my bags the day just before. actually i finished everything at the last second. i second guessed myself enough to open my bags and check through everything, even if i made a list yesterday. i noticed how my bag wouldn’t lock and one of the clasps pop open randomly, which is annoying. no worries though, i made it to the train. 

now we’re all on the train, trying to finish the last parts of the material. the wifi keeps cutting in and out which is a little annoying, since i need google to help me with the missing information. we have to make this presentation interesting somehow. 

there are so many unnecessary numbers in this presentation. who cares about numbers anyways? not me and probably not the future students. they want to know what you can study, how far away it is from the city center, where they can live and if they need to plan transportations. the practical stuff, the interesting stuff. not a bunch of confusing numbers. 

its about 10:00 now, we’re waiting for the go ahead to continue for Helsingør. i’m getting a little heavy headed with how many tunnels we’ve gone through. i think it’s the stress. i’m really nervous. i haven’t been outside of Sweden since like 2012 where i spent a week in Italy. 

i’m jamming to hamilton to calm my anxiety. or crying a little to it. it depends on what song pops on. they’re on shuffle.

today we arrived at the school, bc broekhin. their principal had a speech and it was overall welcoming. 

i got to learn a little dutch, but the only thing i remember is blauw, which means blue and is my favorite color! 

we also created drawing machines, machines that draw by themselves. it was actually pretty fun, goofing around with the materials and experimented with different machines. it took a few tries until we got it done. they all made different patterns, mine made slow symmetrical circles. it was incredibly satisfying. 

then we went into town !!!!! and i promptly got lost between the buildings. this is what happens when i'm not with amanda. i did find my way to starbucks though, and i sat there for a few hours just drawing and drinking my hot chocolate. 

when we got home i introduced carlijn, my host, to superheroes !!!!!! we watched iron man one (1 and she really liked it! i was kinda worried she wouldn't cause these movies mean a lot to me. we have to sleep now though, we have to get up at six (6) tomorrow to get to the school at around eight (8).

we went to brussel today. we traveled by bus for about two (2) hours and i almost fell asleep multiple times. i was still tired from having to leave at 7:30. 

Brussel is absolutely beautiful. The buildings are stunning with their tops and peaks. we got to a square where the buildings had gold platings and i was completely blown away by how beautiful it was. i took a few pictures, i'm planning on showing them to my art teacher. 

i found a gift for my best friend, but i wont tell you what it is since she might read this. in which case; hi bae !!!!! 

while me and carlijn were walking around looking for the gift we were pulled into a skin care store that just opened. the guy working there told us about different skin care products and tried some on our hands. my skin has never been that smooth so i fell very hard for it and bought a bottle of daily face wash. besides, the original price for it was €160 and i got it for only €40 since it was their opening day! 

we ate waffles as well and then we went to the EU parlament and played a roleplay game where we were divided into four (4) different political parties and we had to compromise about water and security chips. it was very interesting! 

when we went home i fell asleep in the bus a few times and both me and carlijn were very tired when we came home. we went to bed almost immediately. i'm watching a little youtube and reading up on our presentation for tomorrow. hopefully we can pull this off.

today i got to wake up on my own because carlijn doesn't have class before 13:00. we still ate breakfast together though, since she wanted to see me off. i think she went to bed again the moment i left. that's good. 

i'm very nervous about our presentation. we're waiting for the others to get done with their presentations since they're introducing us alphabetically and sweden is pretty low on the list. 

later we're going to visit two universities in holland. but right now it's presentation time.
