bruno´s is tall with long red hair

bruno is being sent away

bruno is going with his dad somewhere

bruno is mad that his dads job is outside of berin

bruno has to leave his best friends

the lights have to be turned off at night in order to be safe

Bruno's maid starts acting weird, she takes all his stuff and packs it into crates.Then we meet his mother who was standing at the staircase.Bruno starts asking questions about whats happening but his mother just walks into her bedroom, and we meet Lars the butler.He was packing her things as well, he asks again what's going on but his mother just says "come downstairs with me." He follows her and they start to talk.She tells him "your father's job."

~Maria is the maids name.

~He is getting taken away with his family, but why?

~Bruno and her mother too do not want to leave the house but they have no choice.

~Bruno is outraged that he will have to leave his friends and all the plans they were planning to do together, and he does not like the new house, Because it's not what he is used to.

Chapter 2-The New House P11:

~They get to their new home

~ Bruno thinks it's nasty and cold in the house

~He starts complaining about the new house to Maira but then his mother and father's room door is now open, but his mom is downstairs

~A strange young man steps out wearing the same uniform as his dad

~The man is one of Bruno's dad's soldiers

~Bruno keeps calling his sister Gretel, "a Hopeless Case."

Bruno last preformace was a disaster

- A new character named Herr Liszt has been introduced, but he exhibits some negative traits such as being selfish and caring only for himself.

~ Bruno was missing Shumel, so he decided to look for him near the fence. However, he couldn't find Shumel anywhere after walking around the fence. so he tried to go and talk to him and see if he was at the fence and walked all around the fence and still couldn't find him there.

~I can see that every day before and after school Bruno would go to see if Shmuel was there to go and talk to him

~Pavel has something going on with him?

~Bruno really likes to read.

bruno lied about shmuel and said he was and imaganary friend

This book taught me that small things matter and that it doesn't take much to be kind and help others. Because Bruno helps Shmuel finally have someone to talk to and risked his life for Shmuel to help him try to find his dad. Which shows that kindness is key and that Bruno is so nice to do this for Shmuel and Shmuel was going to miss Bruno but they passed together
