I feel like this article actually focuses solely on the students and their experience. I have learned that Social Justice Education focuses on the social political views, it is centered around raising students' consciousness, and it creates lenses to interrupt inequitable patterns and practices in society.

Why did I chose this:  It is because I know how it feels to be a victim of racism, so the title itself actually stood out the most to me.

- While reading the article, it came to my attention that as a teacher, we acknowledge the values of students.  That is an important step to create social justice in a classroom.  This article shows the same ideology that I have for the students that I want to teach.
