They both talk about warriors. Also in the longest night theirs many more ways it talks about him to become a warrior and a man.

The other story is presented as more realilistic. Both stories have a lesson that we can all see that it's there. They are both presented as having some facts about how the people in the story live and work. Only one presents the facts in a fictional story that is The Longest Night. The other one shows the facts in a more realilistic way.  Although both texts show different facts about different people.
