What have you found most inspiring about the person you have studied and how have they challenged your own worldview?

I have found that the most inspiring thing is that he never gave up on what he believe in and kept persisting. Even when being able to be released from prison he didn't want to because he was standing up against the government to try and the equal right that he had been fighting for 27 years before. This has changed my own worldview and that all races should be equal to one another even. The government should not be the ones that control what certain people have to do they should be able to live their own life the way the want without someone having to force them down a certain path.

Compare and contrast their worldview with the prevailing worldview of their own culture at the time? Ensure that you identify vital aspects of their faith and how that has guided their radical actions

For most of Mandela's life he was under the government controlled by whites. All black communities being very poor because the government did not distribute money in the black communities because they wanted white people to be superior. Being a christian he wanted the equality for black people, and not have a disadvantage just because the colour of there skin. This guided Mandela to fight against the government along side the ANC to have equal rights for the black society of South Africa. He fought hard for the rights that the black society had deserved all along. Have being sent for jail for many years probably gave him more reason to fight against the government. It was a great way to protest his cause by say to the president that he was not going to leave jail until something happened to the apartheid. it was smart to use his jail sentence to be able to get equality for the black people of South Africa.
