The film explains ACEs well. I appreciate how they walk the viewer through the inception of the ACEs study -- and how impactful those initial results were on the medical community. It also helps us understand -- at a basic level -- the impacts of trauma on the brain and how prevalent ACEs are in our world. The truck animation -- getting hit time and time again throughout the day -- might be an image that resonated with teaching staff.

I was taken by a quote from our related reading that people with multiple ACES can be almost incapable of exercising restraint/ delayed gratification. (This makes it so important to provide protective factors early on.)
