• Every member of LTHT staff needs to undertake the training if they send blood samples to bloodbank.
• New members of staff to the trust need to undertake the training within a month of starting.
• Training comprises of attending a drop in session -there are 2 drop in sessions a week at LGI and SJH as below
• The training takes no longer than 15 minutes.
• There is a power point on the training interface under local compulsory which you will find under training-this prepares you for the competence and minimises face to face contact. Please complete this prior to the drop in session.
• There are assessors and clinical educators in each area that can also do your training. NICU and PICU trainees will complete this as part of their induction.

Our social prescribing service is tailored for medical and dental graduates who obtained their primary medical degree outside of the UK. It has been introduced to support doctors with a wide range of issues, concerns and challenges allowing you to focus whole-heartedly upon your training programme and academic goals.
