1. What subject are you interested in and why?
I am interested in the subject of Sports Exercise and Health Science because the topic of anatomy interest me.

2. What specific topic are you interested and why?
Within the subject of Sports Exercise and Health Science, I would like to explore the topic of how the principle of overload is applied in various sports and the effectiveness of these overload exercises.

3. Provide details for subtopics: How? Why? Where? When?
I will be exploring the scientific reasoning and concepts behind the principle of overload and how this will be present in various sports at ISB. I can also ask coaches for their training design for their sport to see the exercises that are specific to the particular sport.

4. How will you collect primary research? What methodology are you considering?
I will be interviewing coaches at ISB and researching to find out whether the sports I will focus on will have any overload exercises and compare them to see how effective they are. I will also utilize the library database at school to find resources that will augment my research.

5. What is your initial research question are you beginning with?
To what extent is the principle of overload applied in various sports and how effective are the overload exercises?

You mentioned in your proposal that you would interview certain coaches in ISB to learn about specific exercise design. Will there be any quantitative data to measure the true effectiveness of overload in different sports?

To focus your research, are there certain sports you are interested in that you want to focus on? I think a selection of 2-4 sports could narrow down your topic and give you a clearer focus for your topic!
