Being creative is all about one's perspective. If one is uninspired, all they need to do is change their perspective, and they will see a world of opportunities. It is a unique experience for each individual, as their worldview is seen through different lenses. Thus, equity is the integrity in flourishing creativity for each and every individual.

It is easy to discuss how creativity looks in the class, but actually making it happen can be a different story. As a teacher, how can I maintain an open mind to maintain equity in my classroom to allow each child to explore their creativity, and understand that everyone sees things differently.

Creativity involves embracing imagination, seeing things in different ways, taking risks and allowing one to embrace individuality and create beauty in all they do as they explore the wonder and world around them.

When facilitating creativity within a classroom it is important to embrace learning styles and provide students with the tools they need to meet with success.

I'm wondering how as a teacher I can foster creativity to those who may have a more single minded focus. Being creative requires an open mind and a positive environment to allow for free thoughts and each child's unique expression.
