I am the Head Mechanic for the School District. I had what seems to be a similar situation with my Crohns and Ostomy. I had emergency surgery(6.5hrs of knife time) and came out with a new temp friend (Ileostomy). Nutrition is key at this point
which I am sure the hospital is doing but when you leave there may be new challenges. I found that finding the right liquid hydration and nutrition helps the mind clarity and energy to be smoother. If you need any support from some one who recently went thru this battle let me know. Hoping for pain reduction and mind to be able to regroup as I am sure you have gone thru a whirl wind of emotions and feelings.
