The office next to mine (and Alice, I know they are both your offices) will feel very empty for me (though I understand that Debbie has a cat friend named Trinity!) without you all. 

Alice and Thunder, you don't need me to tell you how extraordinary Abbott is, but just for emphasis sake, I will. Rather than choosing one or several areas of the life of Church as focus, it seems to me that anything that relates to the new life of the Church, the new life that the Spirit offers, this is where Abbott puts her energy. 

I have been greatly blessed by Abbott's ministry and I know that the Diocese of Virginia will be too.
