One of my inspirations was the 1947 movie 'Lured'. The movie is about a male murderer who is killing young attractive females then sending the police riddles with clues about who he has murdered. Within the trailer there are plenty of shots I like which don't hint towards who the killer is but leaves you invested to find out.

The Lovers (Past)- The lovers card will be used for the past as, on the card, it has the tree of knowledge of good and evil. As the card means love and choices it will represent the characters past with her boyfriend.

The Devil (Present)- The devil will be reversed meaning that the character currently needs to realise that she is the problem, she is the devil, she needs to change her situation.

The High Priestess (Present)- This card represents secret knowledge and feminine power. When she appears she represents something hidden, something that needs to be revealed; her secret about the crimes she has committed.

The Tower (Future)- The tower card can mean devastating change (she will get found out and arrested). Reversed the card means that if she doesn't change her ways she will suffer

She will be played by Ella Blackwell as she is a trusting actress who takes well to direction and will give the perfect evil glare, seductive smile or worried face I will need.

William Vant will be plying George as I have seen him acting many times and think he will suit this role very much.

However, a few things did have to be changed. Firstly, I didn't get a permit for Cheltenham street in time, therefore we didn't film there. Instead we filmed in the alley behind my house which is locked of from public (other than us and the neighbours next to us). Luckily it still did the job to create a scary, unsettling location. We couldn't film the car shots but they weren't as important.

Secondly, We could not use a rehearsal space in the New Adelphi, so I decided to turn our front room into an interrogation setting. As seen in the photo above, me and Robbie were preparing the day before: setting up lighting, where we want the camera, how to not get rest of the front room in shot, moving the dining table away and taking down posters for the plane white wall.

I got all the shots I thought I needed at the time and was happy with the footage after I watched it all back when the shoot had ended.

The hardest bit about filming today was definitely setting up the lighting. We had a lot of issues with shadows especially on the white wall behind them but after time we found a way to hide that.

I had always planed to film in the house today, especially in my room where we had some romance scenes and the break up scene. However, for the afternoon where I wanted to film in Manchester I had to find a different location as I couldn't get the permit for Victoria or Chapel street. This was annoying as I wanted the church in the background and the romantic lighting but I adapted to just having the romance scenes in the park near to where we live and didn't use sound equipment, just one tripod for the camera. It did the job and got the shots I needed.

We filmed from 11 to 5 with the crew. Then when it was dark me and Ella did a lot of B-roll in the house. I got shots of her in the mirror instead of the shot of her dancing and many tarot card shots like I wanted. I enjoyed filming the B-roll as it meant playing around with lighting and set design. They ended up being my favourite shots.

I then chose a song first and uploaded it. This meant I could edit each clip with the timing of the song (when it's slow or fast and on time with the beat). I did this for all 3 of my trailers. When I was well into my first edit I realised quickly that I did not have enough footage for what I had in mind. A lot of shots that I didn't do that at the time felt like I wouldn't need, I ended up needing. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time for more shoots and no one was free the same time. Therefore I had to settle with what I got. This meant I couldn't do a sequence of fast clips like I wanted, I have the sequence but it's a lot slower. Other than that, I did enjoy editing and was happy with the outcome even though I did wish I had more footage, this would've made them better for a trailer.

For future projects I will do a lot more planning such as choosing songs before even filming, applying for permits way sooner, getting more footage then I need instead of thinking that I won't need it in case I do. To do that I need to be more confident in what I want, because on set I felt guilty keeping the cast and crew for too long, I let a lot of shots slide but In the future I need to be more determined to get those shots.
