Her face was wrinkly and there were signs of aging. She walked with a hunchback. Her hands were clammy and her body was soaked with perspiration.  While she was walking, her hunch back was aching. She flinched at every step as she pulled the heavy box. She staggered under the heavy weight of the boxes and trudged wearily.

They just finished their remedial classes. While they were walking happily, they saw an old elderly woman pushing a box of cardboards. They were very sad for the old lady. The old lady was looking so weak and sweating profusely. They noticed that she was walking very slowly. They pitied the old lady who had to work so hard under the hot sunny day. They realised that her clothes was torn and it was dirty. The two girls felt very sad for the old lady. The girls were  shocked that the elderly woman fell and lost consciousness. They ran towards her to check on her. They tried to wake her up but she had fainted. Amy quickly fished out her mobile phone and pushed the buttons 995 to call the Singapore Civil Defence Force. 

After a short while, the old lady regained consciousness. She grimaced in agony as she struggled to get up. Mary told her to stay put as she was still weak. Mary took a look at the elderly woman's forehead and there was a huge swell on her forehead. Her elbows and knees were slightly grazed. Her eyes were filled with sorrow and tears rolled down her wrinkled cheeks. The two girls calmed her down and offered some plain water to her.

"The patient is in stable condition but she warded has to be warded for further observation,”the doctor told us reassuringly. The girls sighed and felt a surge of relief. The girls were happy for being able to  assist the elderly woman. The elderly woman thanked the girls profusely for their assistance.  

The girls ran with a speed of lightning when they saw the time. When they reached home, their mothers were furious at them for coming home late. The girls explained to their mothers what had happened earlier. Both Amy and Mary were glad that they had done a good deed that day.
