However, after the Taliban took control, they imposed many rules that greatly limit what women can do. Women are now banned from going to parks, gyms, and most public places. They are also not allowed to work or study beyond the sixth grade.

Even with these restrictions, Afghan women are still fighting back. They are starting new groups, running businesses, and providing important services in their communities. This ongoing struggle shows how important it is for everyone around the world to support women's rights.
