The first model is designed to stick to a wall or table leg without damaging the object so that cats can freely rub against the brush's bristles whenever they rub the sides of their face and neck to mark their territory on objects around the house. This is a common and frequent behavior in cats and the design of brushing their fur at the same time as when they behave this way eliminates the need to do the daily chores of pet grooming and cleaning up excess fur that many people are allergic to. I created a wearable gesture controller that uses wireless transmitters and flex sensors to record, track, and relay gestures from the hand to the computer, allowing the opening and closing of applications, intuitive typing, and mouse control. I started this project because I knew that music helped me through various struggles. Wanting to do some good in life, I presented this easy solution to could help other teens who need a way to cope with their problems. It's not a problem financially which can make it a better option as opposed to other therapies. I designed a cup that can prevent mold growth by pumping water directly into oboe reeds so no spit can get into the cup, so the mold won't have anything to grow off of.

When it comes to paint mixing, many artists experience the problem of taking too long to blend colors. To counter this problem, I created a more efficient way to create colors with the use of formulas. My product takes use of a very limited palette of just 8 colors. It includes a warm and cool variation of each primary color, with the addition of black and white. This is my recommended palette; it is less in number, but it allows the painter to mix almost any color they want. I wanted to begin an investigation of cheaper alternatives to the classic steel drum that retained the tone quality we all expect to hear. After sinking and shaping paint cans of my own, I realized that the math behind the tamber and tuning of each individual note is one of the most essential characteristics to the steel drum. I wanted to create a kinesthetic learning tool to teach rocketry and physics to help those that learn best out of the classroom. In the kit you can choose your own parts to create a model rocket and solve equations to get your rocket to a certain height or budget. In reflection I found that this Genius Hour Project was very beneficial because I was able to expand my knowledge on rockets and algebraic equations. I also learned the importance of persevering through obstacles as my first idea of a rocket had to be changed. My first rocket idea could fly to different heights depending on the equation you created on your phone. This could not be developed in the time allotted, but I changed my idea, and I was able to create a successful project.

To help fix or ease this pain, I produced an idea of a "shoulder mold" that could offer players stability as they played their instruments, as well as a list of stretches they could use to strengthen their shoulders, which would help to alleviate the pain. A lot of musicians can experience injuries that can distract them from playing to their fullest potential, or even potentially stop them from playing generally.
