Children of Kovno Ghetto Partisans

There were many partisans in the Kovno Ghetto including the children shown in the picture above. Children were key in helping smuggle things in and out. When doing this, the adult partisans were the more violent ones.

Becoming partisans and fighting in the ghetto helped in their area. Although it wasn’t the most successful group, every Resistance movement helps. Many were killed in death camps but their legacy lives on through their journal. The journal highlighted the main parts of their journey.
