“Needless to say, he will be released.” This was the Speaker telling everyone to leave their things where they are in order to protect the from something that is different and new that could potentially be dangerous. 

In other words, a man was helping the citizens of the community and telling them how to keep safe in a new situation. The author is trying to make us see that nothing bad or different ever happens, and when it does they are scared and afraid because this is supposed to be a perfect society. This quote is important because it shows what the Elders do and say when something unexpected happens. In a real world application it would be like cops chasing a bad person and then they catch him and they tell everybody it’s okay because he will be put in jail for many years to keep people safe. This passage from the story had an impact on my thinking about how it is the same for us. Even when something bad happens, there’s always someone to tell us what’s happening and how to stay safe through the problem. Also, we are usually worried or afraid something bad might happen to us. 

 |  One of the announcers said this to  the town over the loudspeaker, and the reason was to inform people that the person inside the aircraft was being released. This was said to let people know that they are now safe.



  During the story, when this is being said, an aircraft is very close to the ground and it flew by multiple times. No aircrafts are allowed too close. All the towns folks were frightened and so they were told to go inside from over the loudspeaker.


 | When it says released, it means that the person gets to celebrate their life and pretty much be free. Mostly, elders or adults get released. This reveals that their town isn't used to conflict like this and that everybody is frightened over the same thing, so maybe everybody is pretty similar.



|When i first saw this quote, i thought that it meant that he would die. It was a little sad the first time i saw his, but i thought he deserved this. But, after awhile  i realized that he was just going to a different place and never coming back to their community. 
When this quote is said, Jonas was outside trying  to figure out why a plane was so close to the community, he knew this wasn't allowed. He was inside, because the speaker that announced it told them to. The speaker anounced an all clear and told them that the guy flying the plane would be released.

  In other words, the person flying the plane, will leave the community and never come back.
The author is trying to make us see that the community Jonas lives in is different. For example, planes are not allowed too close to the community, and people get released rather than put in jail or dying. 
This part of the story, had significant impact on my thinking about how much the community is different. And our community we live in doesn't have the same safety and protection as theirs.
