If I had to place a percentage on teacher buy in here, I would say 80-85%. While there are definite complaints and concerns about some of the new directions that have been introduced, I still see teacher putting forth the effort to accomplish the goals. At Southside, I believe that we are working towards that goal. Because several new initiatives and directions are being taken, there is adjustment to all of the changes needed. I would imagine that this can be difficult at times for several reasons. One major reason could be that many teachers may find it difficult to due to lack of training and use of new initiatives to achieve the goals set for the school.
