I grow up in the province of Cebu, in the not so mountainous barangay of Municipality of Tuburan, in Barangay Caridad.

This is the place where I got my first scar, saw my health situation during my childhood, and saw how I fought for life, up until now.

Where I Studied & Currently Studying

I studied and graduated elementary in our area, at Caridad Elementary School. During my Junior and Senior High School I studied and graduated at Tuburan National High School, and now, I am currently studying at Cebu Technological University - Tuburan Campus, taking up Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Proud Moments I'll Never Forget

I may not have big accomplishments, but I’m proud of the meaningful moments in my life. One of the things I’m proud of is being accepted into the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering program despite the strand taken during SHS— it is a step toward my goal of becoming a licensed civil engineer. Even as I face challenges in it, I continue to push through with determination and resilience. I also take pride in being someone my friends trust with their thoughts and emotions. Whether they’re going through something difficult or just need someone to listen, knowing they feel safe opening up to me is something I truly value, and something I’m proud to be. As an introvert, I'm also proud of myself as I see growth in the small ways I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone, whether it's speaking up, connecting with others, or simply showing up when it's hard.

The Aftermath

These challenges have shaped the way I see myself and the world around me. Dealing with hardships in studies taught me how to keep going, even when I feel like giving up. Being an introvert has made me more quiet and observant, but it has also helped me become more understanding of others. I’ve learned that it’s okay if I don’t always fit in or speak the loudest, what matters is that I keep growing in my own way. It made me more patient, stronger inside, and more gentle with myself, even during the hard days.

Dreaming Big & Moving Forward

I hope to become a licensed civil engineer, that’s one of my biggest goals. It won’t be easy, but I’m willing to work hard for it. I also dream of having my own farm someday, with livestock, fresh air, and lots of plants around me. I imagine a quiet, peaceful life close to nature. More than anything, I just want a life where I feel fulfilled, stable, and surrounded by the things and people I love.

All About Me!

• Music keeps me going through chores, but if I listen while studying, I’ll zone out completely.

• I can listen to the same song 10 times in a row if it matches my mood.

• My idea of a good weekend is staying in, not going out.

• I love deep conversations, but small talk drains me.

• I could honestly live in a forest and be perfectly happy.

• I love plants, even if I don’t always remember to water them on time.

• I love being alone under the night sky, even if there are no stars. There's just something peaceful about the quiet of the night that calms me.

People Who Light Up My Path

My biggest inspiration is my family. They’ve always been my support system, especially during times when I feel like giving up. Some people might think my family (especially my parents) are harsh or too tough, but they don’t see the way they quietly show their love and care. Even when I doubt myself, my family reminds me of why I started and encourages me to keep going. Just knowing they believe in me gives me the strength to push through.

I don’t have a lot of hobbies, but I enjoy the little things that bring me peace. I love being surrounded by nature and plants, they help me feel calm. I also like listening to music and reading when I’m in the mood. I’m more of an introvert, so I enjoy quiet moments and spending time in my own space.

Tough Times I've Been Through

In our lives, we're going to face different kinds of challenges. One of the challenges I’ve faced in life is handling the pressure of my studies, especially since I'm an engineering student. For me, the program that I've taken it's really hard, and there are times when I feel tired, stressed, or unsure if I can do it. Aside from that, I’m an introvert, so I find it hard to blend in or talk comfortably in groups or with newly met people. I sometimes feel shy, quiet, or like I don’t fit in with others. These things make school even more challenging for me. But even with these struggles, I keep trying my best. I’m learning to be more confident, take small steps forward, and believe in myself more each day.
