Earth 4.6 billion years ago was a mixture of hot gasses and solids there was little to no atmosphere. As Earth cooled down an atmosphere was formed by the gasses and eventually volcanoes. It took about half a billion years for it to cool down to the point where water could be collected on it.

Earth 2..6 billion- 400 million years ago was the beginning of earth "come together". the photosynthesis organisms produced enough oxygen to react to methane in the atmosphere. This time was when we started to see the spread of plants and marine life because they were able to extract silicon allowing their skeletal features develop.

Earth 400-290 million years ago was revolutionary. This is when plants were becoming firmly established on earth. Forests and swamps were beginning to be made. This resulted in Earth becoming more cool. This is also when Earth's crustal plates formed into one continent, also known as the infamous Pangaea.

Earth 290 million years ago to present was something I wish I could experience or have more of an in person feel for. At this time earth was much warmer and we had more living organisms on the planet besides just trees. At the time we had dinosaur and obviously now we have humans.
