It is&nbsp;created&nbsp;on artificial islands off the Dubai coastline and the three palm islands alone will increase Dubai’s shoreline by a total of <em>520 km</em></em>. </p><p><strong>Development Company</strong></p><p><em>Nakheel a Dubai development company</em></p><p><strong>Aim of Development</strong></p><p><em>- meet demand of tourism and attract more tourists</em></p><p><em>- want to develop tourism in Dubai to help support the economy. They are worried soon they will run out of oil reserves which is what is currently supporting their economy.</em></p><p><strong>Role they play in developing tourism</strong></p><p><em>- The islands will not only be an attraction but will have hotels and tourist attractions built on the islands.</em></p><p><em>- Will provide new facilities and attractions for tourists.</em></p><p><em>- Will help the country provide for a larger number of tourists.</em></p>]]></description>
