Once when I was 10, I was being bullied in school for my physical appearance. I would tell my teachers and nothing would be done about the bullying and it would continue. So I decided to tell my mom and while my mom cared, she said not to let it get to me which was not helpful at all. So I decided to handle it my own way. The next time someone talked about me or started to pick on me, I told myself I would hit them. This boy began to pick on me and I hit him. It didn't make me feel better and I got suspended while the boy made it seem like I hit him out of nowhere. When I explained why I hit him, he got ISS for 2 days while I got OSS. I was not satisfied but it was what it was...

I think the Kyle Rittenhouse situation was unjust because he was not guilty when he was on video shooting and killing two men. I think the verdict was unjust whether it was at a BLM protest or not killing someone isn't right and u should have a punishment for it and be sentenced to prison. This just shows how there isn't much justice in the governments judicial system because there was video proof and he was still not tried as guilty.

Something I don't agree with or I felt was unjust was when the boy who was shooting (Kyle Rittenhouse) at an anti-racism protest wasn't found guilty for what he did. I feel like he got off easy because he is a white boy and he claimed he felt "threatened". In my opinion, justice was not served when he was found not guilty on all charges. He killed two people and wounded one. I feel like if roles were reversed and an African American man did the same thing he would be found guilty on all charges. The system chooses who they want to be above the law which is "white men". Although Rittenhouse is white so were the people he killed. I can't say that this was a racially motivated act, what he did was still wrong and justice was not served in the jury's decision.

An experience that I had that I consider was not "Justice" (Fair) was some years ago, being in the scouts, where it is supposed to be a place of "good people". A friend of mine was involved in a rumor, something related to a girl about him "Talking bad about her". The girl's brother did not know what had really happened but he decided to push, hit and seriously humiliate my friend in front of everyone. Trying to make a point about "Justice" and "Teaching" him to respect women. After all that my friend never went back to the scouts and the girl ended up telling the truth, that she had made it up. It's fair? Is there justice? To do "Justice" you have to really know what you are doing and what is really going on in order to make a decision that can affect the lives of others.
Valeria A

Something that seems unjust to me that my family is okay with is the fact that I am the only one in my house who can't have a dog my sister has a dog that sleeps on her bed, and my father has a pitbull and a bully that both jump on people and shed everywhere. I have never been trusted with a dog. Parents like to use the reason "because I said so", but when you ask why they said so, they just say it again. There's no good reason. The fact that my house is so strict is a reason that when I turn 18, I'm out of there. I've been saving up for years.

When i was younger not sure of my age at the time but it was the summer time. Me, my brother and my cousin were outside of course because we were kids and its summer time. So we were by my grandmas and over there these big sewer outlets on the curb so my brother and cousin took my shoe and played monkey in the middle with it. After a good 10 minutes of that my brother decides to throw my shoe in the sewer. So when we went back inside they somehow found a way to say i did it and not them. so i get yelled at by my mom. The significance of its portrayal was that i was blamed for being teased because of the outcome of me being teased and them not wanting to get in trouble. This says that justice isn't always served no matter if its a serious or minor situation and that even if you didn't do something you were blamed for you may just have to take the blame because justice may never be served to you and the fight would be for nothing.

During our spirit week, on Dress to Impress day people wore what they thought was impressive. In the description there was no rule that we had to be in suit and tie-like clothes. Plenty of people wore jeans and cute shirts, whatever they thought dress to impress meant. The administrators gave ISS to every student who didn't have on what their idea of dress to impress was. Other teachers agreed that it was a bit absurd for them to get ISS when the administrators weren't specific in the first place.

An example where "justice"uu was served and i didn't agree with it was during the January 6th insurrection. Some people who stormed the capitol were sentenced to different places like jail, prison, probation, and house arrest. These sentences were not just compared to different situations such as the black lives matter movement in July of 2020. When depicting the situation, I see that with our government they can sometimes look beyond the crimes when bringing justice to the situation. They were sparing the rioters at the capitol during the insurrection, and when it came to the black lives matter movement they were quick to pull out everything they had in order to stop the protest. For example, there were rubber bullets, tear gas, and smoke bombs used right away during the blm movement. But during the insurrection, they took hours to start using repercussions against the rioters. In order for this to stop happening we nee to look deeper within our government to avoid these unjust situations.

Just is a resolution for a crime committed or accusations against someone. Something unjust that I seen is the Kyle Rittenhouse case. I feel like he should’ve been found guilty for walking into a peaceful crowd with a gun and shooting people. It wasn’t an accident nor was it any form of defense it was complete hatred and racism and it was wrong on all accounts. Rittenhouse plead innocent and gave a sob story which sounded made up only to make him seem like he was forced into shooting. This case proves that justice is not just at all. I feel like the verdict is wrong and theres no evidence that proves his innocence.
