The Beginning of The Universe

The Big Bang theory is presented that there was a blank space of nothing before the universe. However, within that nothing, there were constant fluctuations in energy blinking extremely fast in and out of reality. The energy was labeled dark energy, and when there was just enough of that energy to blink into existence, it would cause an explosion within an infinitely small point. This infinitely small explosion would be so large that it would need to expand all of its energy which began the universe's expansion. Over 380,000 years after the explosion, the heat would have cooled down, creating matter which collided over billions of years, creating stars, planets, and human life.

Georges Lemaître proposed the Big Bang theory. However, Georges did it over the collected years of evidence of scientists studying space that helped support his idea. The line of evidence begins in 1912 with Vesto Slipher, who created methods that helped measure the increase or decrease of frequency in light and sound waves. In the case of the galaxies surrounding us, Vesto discovered that frequency waves were decreasing, indicating there was a strong enough force to cause those galaxies to move away from us. 1924, Edwin Hubble created the Hubble Telescope, which significantly helped study space. The Hubble Telescope provided the technology to observe the surrounding parts of our galaxy, offering more data for the Big Bang Theory. Three years later, Georges would propose his line of study that the universe was expanding with evidence. Many scientists disagreed with the proposal, but it wasn't until 1933 that more evidence supporting the theory and Einstein agreeing with Georges made the Big Bang theory famous over the years.

Besides the evidence made by Vesto, Edwin, or Georges, many other astronomers had done research on the Big Bang Theory. Such as Robert Wilson and Arno Penzias, American astronomers, discovered a saturation of radiation that was an excess all over the universe. This radiation was labeled cosmic background radiation, theorized to have come from a light strong enough to produce radiation that was strong enough to saturate our universe. This radiation helped prove that along with the Big Bang came a light 375,000 years after the explosion, which is the only theory supporting the background radiation's existence. However, the timeline or models of the universe wouldn't be created or theorized the way it is without any actual observational evidence to support the models. With observations of supernovas, a cloud of gas, and rocks, scientists have learned that the supernovas are thousands of lights years away and can reflect light. These facts mean that if light travels 300,000 kilometers per second. Then our universe's light reflected off these supernovas back to Earth is light from billions of years ago that scientists can observe in the present day. These observations of these reflections allow scientists to create a model that closely resembles what the universe may have looked like at the beginning of its birth.

Along the way of my research on the Big Bang theory, there were many intriguing theories of what its birth was like. The most intriguing idea of all was the measured magnitude of its explosion. To add perspective, the explosion needed to birth trillions of lights years of space in a point billions of times smaller than an atom would be devastating. American astronomer, Jay Pasachoff, states that combined forces of energy into one singular point had to emit so much energy that the minimum magnitude was approximately a trillion trillion billion degrees kelvin. The explosion must have been colorful and scientists agree that with the creation of cosmic inflation and protons, the dominant colors of that explosion would be purple and orange.
