Molly:  As I’ve been working from home for 2 years, it’s been really nice to come back to the office and I’m trying to come in for 1 or 2 days per week. It’s really nice to meet people who joined during covid and putting a face to the name 🤓🙌🏻

Bella: I started to come back to the office 5 days a week. It really helped to switch off completely at the end of the day and the commute process hasn’t been as hectic as I expected 😌! I really enjoyed meeting people in the office (using Chow portal!), munching on unlimited snacks throughout the day and playing pools or fußball at the end of the day 🏓 🎱

What have you enjoyed most about returning to the office?

Molly: FOOD haha (it’s nice not to cook)! It’s actually really nice to have a change of scene and not to work from a kitchen table 👀

Bella: The opportunity to meet people from your team and from other departments (e.g. the interviewers I have been working with!)

What are the best perks/ amenities at your office? 

Molly: I LOVE the choice of restaurants - we have 3, from Asian food, to Italian food, it’s a much better choice than my empty fridge! 🍝🍣

Bella: Libraries on upper floors, free food and unlimited snacks, nice rooms to sit in and focus;

spotting random plants from here and there and trying to figure out what they are 🌿(apart from the obvious cacti 🌵🤭) 

Molly: Jimmy’s iced milk latte ☕️ 😍 

Bella: UNLIMITED propercorn 🍿

Molly: I love King’s Cross, I think it’s a supercool area with loads of great stuff, but Rathbone will always have a place in my heart as it’s my first office 😌💛

Bella: Perhaps Brock Street office! It has a lovely south-facing working space on the 10th floor to work at, and the location is ideal for socials with colleagues or friends after work as it’s close to West End 😋🍹🥘 

I have absolutely loved RTO. It’s amazing to meet people in person who you may have only previously met on Zoom, or maybe only recognise their names from WP, or even people who you have not yet had the chance to cross paths with! It opens up so much more opportunity for relationship building across both Pods and Functions. It’s tricky to get to know people from outside of your Pod while WFH, so going into the office and sitting with coordinators from other Pods who you wouldn’t necessarily have met while WFH is amazing! It’s crazy to think that we took the simple things like that for granted before we moved to WFH so it’s great to get that normality back! 😊

The chats and the craic (Irish slang for fun incase there are any non-Irish readers 😉☘️) While WFH does have its perks (I’ve never been more on top of laundry in my life!) you forget how impactful good ‘ol water cooler talk, or a few jokes cracked at the desk are for brightening up your day and your mood! When I RTO in October last year, I thought going to the office would have me entirely drained after not being in that kind of social setting for full working days in 

almost 2 years. However, it was the complete opposite. I found myself coming home more energized after a day in the office and I also found I was switching off after a work day a lot easier. 

It’s no surprise that I, like most others, would definitely say the food. We are absolutely spoiled for choice between the incredible options that the amazing culinary team create on a daily basis, and the unbelievable array of snacks and treats that are available in the micro kitchens. Both the canteen and the micro kitchens cater to all dietary requirements which is amazing! It’s also such a relief to not have to think about what to make/pack for lunch when you’re working in the office (especially coming from someone who is absolutely allergic to the kitchen!) We’re absolutely spoilt! 🥐🌮

Oh my goodness, this is an impossible question to answer! The Grand Canal office just re-opened their Vegetarian ‘Garden Cafe’ recently which had been closed since the lock-down (the main ‘Hacker Cafe’ was still always packed with Veggie/Vegan options before it reopened, but now there’s a whole section!!) 🥑🥬🌽

I could aim high and say MPK - who wouldn’t want to see the gigantic campus! However, with a lot of my team based in London in the new Kings Cross office I’d definitely love to work there, I’d love to see the fab new building and the gorge rooftop space (and my team too I suppose 😏). We also have some team members in Tel Aviv, and while their photos of the sunsets and the beach have me wanting to move there tomorrow - their chats about the heat have me knowing that I would melt instantly 🫠 

Brilliant! The TLV office was reopened in July 2021 and I was part of the first people who had opted in to return to the office. Personally I was really struggling to work from home without the social interactions, so RTO was really exciting. I come to the office 4 days a week and it’s just great to be back, meet my colleagues & friends , enjoy the amazing food and all the great facilities our office has to offer 😊

The people! I felt very lonely working from home and the RTO was so good for my well being! Being surrounded by my friends every morning, having coffee and lunch with them or just being able to look over to the table next to me and ask a question, had such a positive effect on my D2D. I was also able to create new connections with people that I don’t work with, which is also what I love about returning to the office ! And THE FOOD of course. 

I am a coffee lover, so one of the best things that was opened when we returned to the office was the new Coffee Lab on the 46th floor ☕ It features a 3 group La Marzocco Strada espresso machine, 4 fully automatic Mahlkonig K30 grinders, an automatic tamper, a Hario Cold Brew Water Dripper Wood, Hario kettles and brewing heads for filter coffee and much more! I go there every morning and my coffee experience in the office has changed for the better since the Coffee Lab was opened. 

Tuesdays Schnitzels! We have schnitzel for lunch every Tuesday and it's my favorite meal of the week! 🍽

I would love to visit the office in NY and work from there- I heard they have a really nice balcony!

But also would LOVE to visit the Lon & Dun offices and meet my colleagues that I have never met F2F! ✈️🏙

It has been a smooth transition and nice to be back on campus with everyone!

Dubai Office to experience another culture and try their cuisine.

It’s been great so far. I’m doing the hybrid model currently with 3 days coming to the office and 2 days working from home. I’m very excited to be back in the office but also appreciate the flexibility. 

Social connections with coworkers. Technology has made connecting with people very easy but there is no replacement for a casual chit chat when you see each other in the morning or have a coffee break together. ☕️ 

My personal favorite is the massage chair, which really helps me relax and reset. I also love the game room. There was a day when a few of us stayed an extra 15 min after work and played video games and shot some hoops together. It was really fun and a good bonding moment. 😀 

I love cut fruits and also the fact that I have everything I need to make a delicious oat milk latte. 🍉 🍎 🍓 

I would love to work at the Singapore office because most of my team members are there. I would also like to work at the MPK office because I’ve heard it’s a very cool community-like campus. ✈️
