- The large amount of space means more room for the actors to utilise the space.
- The black background symbolises the grief and chaos going on and adds to the atmosphere during the scene.
- We retained certain elements of the original set design for Greek Theatre such as the orchestra, parados and also the theatron which is not drawn as part of the set.

- Red coloured lightings that would be used as well will show the conflicts, inner turmoil and grief of Jocasta with her shame and also Oedipus upon realizing what had happened in this scene.
