It really depends on what you like if you like noodles and cheese and processed foods than you probably enjoy life more now, but if your okay with fresh food fresh meats and fresh vegetables you would most certainly enjoy the days of foraging!

So how's the hunting-gathering life going...?

Foragers are usually fit and eat a variety of foods.
They depend on themselves for food.They don't have to plant or harvest crops.They don't have to work as long as farmers. | The food supply is never assured.Foragers tend to lead shorter lives.The food hunted/gathered may have diseases/poison.They can be killed/attacked by animals and/or other humans.

...and what is the farming life like?

They have protection from dangerous animals, poisonous food, and other humans.They have a consistent supply of food.Specialization allows people to take on different jobs.People can be less worried about their next drink and meal. | Segregation is created between the rich and the poor.
Specialization can cause greediness.Huge communities can cause warfare on a large-scale.Diseases are more open towards people in a group.
