1. Why did God hide the truth from the learned and the clever, and revealing them to mere children?
~Because the lord does not choose to help those who are strong as they are already capable .Instead, he chooses to help those who are weak because they need assistance/guidance.
~God chooses to help the vulnerable because he is a merciful and caring god and that god loves everyone and cares for them.

2) Why Does Jesus wants us to turn to him when we are troubled?
~Jesus wants us to have faith in him.
~God wants us to put him first instead of our parents and other important people/things as he knows what is best for us
~

1)this is because the children have pure thoughts, they will not doubt the truth.

2) because he is extremely happy to help us when we are troubled and he wants us to talk to him, be closer to him as well

1. Why did God hide the truth from the learned and the clever, and revealing them to mere children?

- so that the mere children may know more about God and be more like him.
-God revealed it to mere children because they are innocent and naive.
- Children has an innocence that adults and everyone else tends to lack. They tend to believe everything easily. That is what Jesus wants us to do. He wants us to just believe in him and trust in him that he would protect us . Children are also very pure and they tend to not know how to deceive others or manipulate so that is what Jesus is trying to tell us, to be like children.
- god revealed the truth to the children because the children were more likely to believe the truth as they were more simple, believing, and trusting than the learned, who would be less willing to believe the truth

2) Why Does Jesus wants us to turn to him when we are troubled?

-This is because Jesus will always be there for us and will always guide us back if we are lost.
- Jesus wants us to turn back to him as we should be fully dependent for him and we should long for him.
- Jesus wants us to turn to him whenever we are in trouble, to believe in him. It is also another way to show how much he truly cares for us and to show that he would always be there whenever we feel that we are all alone.
- jesus wants us to always turn to him as he loves us so much that he is willing to take all our burdens and "carry our crosses" for us. so, we should always rely on him, and let him take away our unhappy thoughts that weigh us down every day.

Matthew 11:25-30

Jesus exclaimed, ‘I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, for hiding these things from the learned and the clever and revealing them to mere children. Yes, Father, for that is what it pleased you to do. Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, just as no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

‘Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden light.’
