Irish Anne Miranda

Required question- What other books did this remind you of? How are similar?
Reading throughout the book "Anger is a gift" it reminded me of a book called "Darius the great is not okay" because there was some parts of the book that seemed similar to Moss's issues. I found the two books similar because bth Moss and Derius was both going through rough things, however they may not have been going through the exact things I felt they could relate to each other. In the book Moss was going through a lot such as really bad panic attacks, a dead father, and a rallying point for a community and he wanted to be someone else and he wasn't happy. On the other hand in the book "Daruis the great isn't okay" Darius was struggling with clinical depression, a disapproving father, and anemic social life. I felt they had a connection and had really good similarities because not only they were young and dealing with a lot the had almost the same problems. Moss and Darius both wasn't happy, one was depressed and the other wanted to be someone else because he was happy with who he was. Also, they was both dealing with dad issues.

Required question- If you could hear the same story from another persons perspective who would it be and why ?
If I was to reread this book from another persons perspective I would want to read it from Esperanza because in the book Moss and Esperanza was inseparable. They been with each other with everything and I want to reread it from her perspective because there is always a different point of view of everything and any situation and it would be more interesting knowing how she felt and her thoughts ad feelings throughout the book instead of only hearing moss's feelings and thoughts. Throughout the book I always wondered how she felt and i didn't know because this book was mostly based on moss.

Required question- Would you read another book by this author why or why not?
I would definitely read another book by this author because he was really so in depth and so descriptive of everything that is happening in the passage. I felt as if everything he described so so perised and he made it sound so realistic like I was there living it or watching it. He made every part of the book interesting. Also, this book could relate to a lot of people in the real world. He writes about genuine problems and it can relate to so many people and touch them in many ways. Me personally I cannot relate to the book however I did have a strong feeling towards the whole book. So yes I would definitely read from him again. I loved this book.

Required question- What do you think of the books title? How does this relate to the books contents? What other title might you have choose?
I think the book title fits the book because it's basically about people who speaks freely about something when they are mad/angry. The book "anger is a gift" basically spoke on people who are angry back to people who are rightfully mad. so the title for the book fits perfectly of what's happening.

Required question- Share a favorite quote from the book. Why did this quote stand out?
The quote that stand out to me was "you gotta grasp onto it, hold it tight and use it as ammunition. you use that anger to get things done to get things done instead of stewing in it" This really sticked out to me because it I need to learn hoot do this myself. Personally when I am mad I tend to hold it in and whenever someone bothers me again i end up taking my feelings and going off on them or whenever i'm upset about something I end up having my whole day ruined and I let it get in the way which is why this quote stand out to me because it made me realize that instead of letting everything get to me I should just use that as motivation and not ket everything stop me the same way I used to be.
