today i had a class with my manager on calculate the food costing in our company. he had shown us the percentage of food costing and profit margin that used in our company. then he explain at us there is the different between cost of good sold(COGS) and food cost. usually COGS they combine the cost of food and beverage. but food cost its only focus on the food cost.
