The freedom to believe in whatever we believe in, the freedom to say anything we want, that's what America is. That's what all those immigrants came for hundreds of years ago. That is what our founding fathers wanted for us. If they hadn't put the first amendment in there, we wouldn't be where we are today. We are extremely lucky to be able to say whatever we want, compared to countries where the people get murdered for saying things against people or the president. 
My second favorite amendment is the 13th amendment which freed slaves. I'm so happy this happened, because the term "Land of the free" was such a contradiction at that time. No one deserves to be a slave nor treated like one.
