This is divided into normal( lower secondary) level and advanced (upper secondary) level.

The lower secondary consists of 4 years of study, at the end of which students undertake regular level exams. The upper secondary consists of 2 years of study, at the end of which students sit advanced level exams.

Three-year technical schools provide an alternative to reduce the burden on secondary schools.
