5. Food: What’s for breakfast? Dinner? Lunch?

I don't usually eat breakfast, I just wake up and go to class. On the weekends, I sleep in till about 11 and eat at around 12 ish. For lunch I like to have something light like a sandwich and/or some fruit. For dinner I like to eat a little heavier. I like to have the Mongolian grill that is in the tri towers dinning hall. I usually get rice, sauce, chicken and steak. Sometimes ill get noodles instead of rice. I usually eat a snack/small meal at around 10 pm. This is usually some popcorn, chips, or ramen noodles.

College students can show leaders what future generations want from a country. College students are very powerful when they all come together. They can cause great change in laws and policies. One main example I think of is the civil rights era. Young people are a lot more determined to cause positive change in politics compared to older people.

Working with a team 2/21

I don't mind being a part of a team. Sometimes there are people that don't do their part. I feel like there is always someone on the team that takes charge and kind of tell people what to do. Team work can be a good idea, because different people can bring different ideas to the project. It can really help when you are stuck on something.

I like all of the statues that surround the building. Buildings that have statues often just have gargoyles or something like that. This building has mermaids, frogs, and many different animals all around the building. I also like how unique it is. There aren't many buildings like this in the world. It looks very complex and captivating. It seems like something that you can look at for hours and constantly be finding or noticing new things about it that you did not see before.

My discourse community is anything sports related. I grew up playing and watching sports, and they have taught me many life lessons along the way. My goal is to become a coach, and help people improve not only in their sport, but as a person as well.

March 13th is a day I remember vary vividly. This was the day that most schools in the country shut down due to COVID. The COVID epidemic didn't really effect my life that much, the only thing that changed was that school was online compared to in person. I had a lot more freedom to do what I wanted at home vs. in school which I liked.

Money is the most important things for some people. All people care about is money and material possessions. You can often tell who these people are just by looking at them. They are often wearing something expensive and walk like they own the world. Some of the richest people in the world don't even spend that much money on material things. Mark Zuckerberg used to live in a one bedroom apartment. He is one of the most successful people in the tech world. he never wears anything fancy or expensive. Money is a big divider in today's society. People judge you based on how much money you have rather than your personality. It is important to remember that all people are the same, and we shouldn't judge people based on what they are wearing, or how much money you think they have.

1.) I am a really big fan of The Office tv show. I am always watching it or have it on in the background.

2.) I am from a small town right outside of Springfield called Rochester. It only has a population of about 3 thousand.

3.) I love play/watching sports. My favorite sport to play is tennis, and my favorite sport to watch is football (american).

Story, emotion, history.
Reading is a good way to receive information, but it is slowly becoming outdated because I would rather watch a video or movie than read.
I don't read too much, because I enjoy movies and watching things more than reading.

I skimmed through the article titled "failure is not an option". I really like this article. The author talks about how failure should be welcomed. "To writing especially, fail-

ure is integral, and I will go so far as to assert that the best writ-

ing (and the best learning-to-write) happens when one approaches

the activity from a mindset trained on failure." (page 76). I really like this quote. It explains that someone's best writing comes as a result of failing multiple times. The author talks about how failure IS an option, and that it is important that we learn from failure rather than try to avoid it.

I skimmed through an article called "first year composition prepares students for academic writing". It talked about how a first year writing course can help kick start a student's academic writing career. This course helps build the foundation that a student can build on for the future of their writing career. This first writing course helps teach them a lot of tips and tricks to help them succeed later in school.
