4 Fears and Ways to overcome:

Fear of Judgement: We as humans develop a fear of being hated by people who seem to have higher standards than us so we try our best to impress and fit in when in reality theres no actual worth of impressing anyone besides Allah, we should develop a mindset that only Allah can judge us.

Fear of Death: The sins we carry on our shoulders creates a fear of not being accepted by Allah and that death is the end and after that we wont be able to live and love the things we did in this dunya. Instead we should note in our minds that death is not the end and if we want a better after life we should stop the sins that we enjoin in.

Fear of the Jinns: We tend to fear the dark and spirits when in reality we are much stronger we are Allahs best creation and with a strong imaan comes Allahs protection.

Fear of Losing Money: Money is a temporary enjoyment.

****************************
・Four differences we would feel when we are being mindful of Allah
1. Consciousness in prayer, we would have a sense of awareness knowing that Allah is there watching us and we stand in front of him and it causes fear and in result a perfect prayer.
2. When we have the desire to sinn, we would have a fear of something pulling us away from committing that sinn but when we look deeper its Allahs mercy of him softening the heart and causing consciousness to man.
3. We encourage good and care about our status and relationship with Allah, we start enjoining in good and forbidding evil.
4. More time spent on being productive and mindful of time and wisely spending it on good and worship.
・Four differences we feel when we are <del>forgetting</del> that there’s our Lord above us and watching our acts
1. We see ourselves getting more into sinns and leaving the excuse that theres plenty of time to ask for forgiveness later.
2. We spend our time in sinning.
3. We only care about our status and relationship with people.
4. We then slowly stop doing good and stop praying.

****************************
Three ways on becoming more mindful about are daily prayers
1. We should not treat them like a burden and infact enjoy the blessing of being able to pray, to enjoy the prayers take some time to talk with Allah, ask him for forgiveness or maybe it could be a desire that you hold and even thanking him for the blessings he has granted upon you.
2. We should act upon our prayers at the level of ihsaan, take it slowly put time in it and have patience remember this a conference between you and your Lord not a race.
3. The act of Prostration has several benefits it has a good effect on memory, vision, hearing, concentration and psyche. When we are in prostration we should take time as the longer we are in sujood the more sins are being forgived, we should also add some duas as duas in sujood are always heard.
****************************
・A verse that includes Allahs Forgiveness:
And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they are forgiven. (As Shura:37)
・A verse highlighting on Allahs Mercy:
“Say: ‘O My servants who wronged against their souls, do not despair of Allah’s mercy! For Allah forgives all sins, for He is indeed Forgiving, Compassionate.'” (Az-Zumar: 53).
・A verse emphasizing on Allahs Glory:
“And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, glorifying [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord. And it will be judged between them in truth, and it will be said, “[All] praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.” (Az-Zumar:75)

****************************
Scenario 1:
Music is a melody of shaitaan and its his way for us to forget Allah. We know that music is Lahw and its hard to let go for how tempting it is but our friend can still have without disappointing and disheartening her.
We could recommend her to put some nasheeds that remind us of Allah or songs with only vocals and those that don’t contain cuss words.

Scenario 2:
It genuinely depends, if the person is problematic or a threat to Islam we should raise protests and not allow to promote that public figure in our country or city,
If it’s someone whose not a Muslim we should warn our Muslim friends to not support or worship someone like a idol as it’s considered minor shirk and not attend such gatherings,
Otherwise if it’s someone who promotes charity and a good Muslim and sets a great example for a public figure we should support them and attend the gathering.

****************************
Patience in the life of Prophet SAW

When the Prophet SAW was in the time of bycott of She’eb Abi Talib where persecution and hardships were intense and that was also the time where the year of sorrow took place, where he lost two of the most important people he looked up to. Abu Talib died and then shortly Khadija RA. It was a time where he had no one to rely on but Allah, he did not fully loose hope so Allah SWT sent the gift and night journey of Isra al Miraaj, where he was granted and witnessing miracles no human has ever seen. This story teaches us that when we are in the time of hardship we should only and always rely on Allah, maybe you have asked for a star and he granted you the moon and beyond.
He Allah SWT is most merciful and doesn’t ignores the prayer of the one who is disheartened.

****************************

3 everyday habits that include Takabur

1. When we achieve better grades, we start to shove it into peoples faces and think we’re better and superior because we are smarter.
2. Pride in our appearance, there is nothing to boast about when it comes to face and body, Allah has only granted you beauty as a favor you are equal to everyone else, nothing more or nothing less.
3. When we receive something expensive, a temporary worldly item is nothing to be proud off and gather attention to show it around.

We should never try to be what we are not for others. Giving success is in Allah's hands. We should try hard in everything we do and leave the rest up to Allah, and not be afraid of losing.

************************
4 difference that you feel with and without being conscious of Allah.
If we are conscious of Allah :-
1. We will always be humble and thanks Allah for everything.
2. Our heart will be full if love and kindness.
3. They will know that Allah is watching them and they will avoid doing sins.
4. They will witness Allah's mercy upon them.
If we are not conscious of Allah :-
1. We will waste our time on lahw and lahwal hadith.
2. He will have no pleasure in halal things.
3. He will try to make the people happy and forget about the akhirah.
4. As . result these people will suffer the ultimate loss
************************
Ways to contemplate in salah
1. Offer you salah at the level of ihsaan, think you are standing in front of creator and having a conversation with him
2. Make dua in your sujood, recite sana, ask for your forgiveness because your dua never goes to waste, either Allah will grant it to you in this dunya or the hereafter because he knows what is best for us.
3. Do not offer your salah like how a hen eats it's seed, do not rush your salah because Allah is watching you
*****************
Write verses mentioning Allah's mercy, forgiveness and glory .
1. Verse that mentions Allah's mercy :-
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.

(Surah buruj,verse 11)

2. Verse that mentions Allah's forgiveness:-
Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance
( Sarah nasr,verse 3)
3. Verse that mentions Allah's glory:-
who they resented for no reason other than belief in Allah—the Almighty, the Praiseworthy
(Surah buruj,verse 8)
***************************
Scenario 1
There are three things that I can do in this scenario, (by stopping it by my hand or by my tongue or just keep it to myself thinking it is Haram). But I think I would use my tongue here as I don't want to create a scene by using my hand. I would tell my friend that music is Haram and how the prophet did not like it and it is our duty to follow in his foot steps. I would also suggest that she replace singing song in the function with reciting Surah or singing Nasheed.

Scenario 2
I think I would not go to the meet and greet because they may have music and it is also an example of lahw(meaning less entertainment). As for my friends and family I would advise them not to go because it would be Haram and a waste of time.
**************
Battle of Badr
Prophet (SAW) had many difficulties in his life but he always had patience and faith in Allah. One of the times where he had to exercise immense patience was during the battle of Badr. The number of Muslims were very low but he had faith in Allah. There were only 313 Muslims and thousand Quraish, but Allah sended Angels for the Muslims help. It is said that Allah send around 5000 angels. In the end 14 Muslims were martyred and from the Quraish 70 Warriors were killed.
**********************
Times when we unknowingly do Takabur
1. When we get something new that others do not have we start to feel superior than them.
2. We are sometimes very proud of our health or beauty, always remember it is Allah who created us and if you are looking down at someone just because of how they look you are insulting Allah's creation.
3. We should never be proud of any skill or quality we have, Allah has gifted everyone with different qualities, you may have the quality which others don't have and others may have the quality that you don't have, so never be proud of what you can do.

Four things we tend to fear more than we fear Allah:

Fear of Death

We should know that every single person has to die one day. As mentioned in the Quran, "Every soul shall taste death". To overcome this fear, we should do good deeds so we do not hesitate or fear when we stand before Allah

Fear of Boss/ Teacher

Sometimes when our boss or teacher give us a task to complete before a specific time, then because of their fear we forget to pray. We keep earning sins. We must always give priority to Salah no matter what.

Fear of Jinns

People who are scared of jinns should recite Ayatul Kursi or duas of protection. We should believe nothing harms us without Allah's will.

Fear of people's Judgement

This fear is found in every single person. People hesitate before doing something thinking "what is people call me backwards", So we should never care about what will people say, We should do whatever we want to do because whatever you do people will always find a way to put you down.

Firstly, we should have strong belief in Tawheed. We should believe nothing can benefit nor harm us unless Allah wills. When a person has strong faith in Allah, He becomes a Wali of Allah. And Allah promises in the Quran that no grief or harm will be caused to them. As Allah says in the Quran, "Unquestionably, for the allies of Allah, there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve."
*********************
         Four differences between
        i. When we make our wudhu properly, we prepare ourselves to meet Allah.

2. Imagine that we are standing in front of Allah. Keep in mind that Allah is watching every action of ours, and is listening every verse we recite.

3. When we do sujood, we should keep in mind that we are bowing in front of the Lord of the Seven Skies, the creator of the world, we are nothing in front of him, we are bowing him on the land.
***************************
         Write Verses including:
i. Allah's mercy
ii. Allah's punishment
iii. Allah's glorification

      • Verse regarding Allah's mercy

"Except those who believe and do good__they will have a never- ending reward" (Surah At-Tin, Ayah 6)

      • Verse regarding Allah's punishment

"So Allah overtook him, making him an example in this life and the next" (Surah An-Nazi'at, Ayah 25)

     • Verse regarding Allah's glorification

"Pronounce the purity of the name of your most exalted Lord" (Surah Al-Ala, Ayah 1)
**************************
Scenario 1 :
I would ask my friend privately not to play drum while singing songs because music is haram in Islam rather I will advice her to either play any nasheed or instead of playing drum she can play daf which is allowed in Islam.

Scenario 2 :
I cannot stop the city from arranging the event but I will stop the people I know from going there like my friends, colleagues etc. I will ask them that the money they are spending to meet that celebrity, rather we can spend that money by feeding a poor child or giving them in charity. Its way better than going to meet that celebrity, you won't get anything for that but for giving charity you would get a reward from Allah.
*************************
• The incident of Taif
When Prophet (S.A.W) went to the people of Taif to guide them and invite them to Islam, the behaviour of the people of Taif was not good with the Prophet (S.A.W) and his companion. They threw stones at them and injured them, but Prophet (S.A.W) didn't curse them or even think of taking revenge . He kept patience and left this matter in the court of Allah.
The incident of Taif is the greatest example of how to keep patience in your hard times, when people turn against you and you are helpless. Remember! Allah is with you, He is the one watching every single action of yours and others. So keep patience and you'll get the reward.
We cannot relate the hardships of our life to our Prophet's (S.A.W) life. We cannot even touch the level of patience he kept while his hard days, but learning about these incidents, learning about how the Prophet (S.A.W) was patient on the hardships, gives us strength, increases our imaan and our belief on Allah (S.W.T) that when there is no one to help us, Allah is there to help us.
*************************
3 things in that we do in our everyday life that falls under the category of "Takabbur"

1. When we look at ourselves in the mirror, we unintentionally start praising ourself for having beautiful face features or thick and shiny hair. We don't remember that Allah is the one who made us and we cannot give the credit to ourselves for us being beautiful.

2. When we are outside passing by some poor people, we look down upon them and pass by them while saving our clothes thinking that what if they haven't showered since long ? Oh! They are so dirty. We forget that wealth and respect is given by Allah (S.A.W).

3. Sometimes when we have some money saved with us and our siblings ask for it because of some reason, we become rude to them and don't give them that money. Even after 2-3 days we talk to them as if we are billionare and forget that the money is given to us by Allah and he can take this whenever he wants.

Four things we tend to Fear more than Allah and ways to overcome:

Poverty: By staying in your means and trying to live in the standards of which you earn, Poverty wouldnt be taking control over you. You will overcome the fear once you have learned the skill of spending in the way you earn.

Death: Every soul has to taste death. When we have fear of Allah, we are not afraid of death, but are preparing for it and the afterlife.

Diseases: Diseases are from Allah and it is Him whom we should be afraid of. Pray for protection against diseases, and try to maintain health by exercising, eating healthy. By doing this, we will most likely not have disease, if Allah wills, and so the fear will be gone.

War: Fear of War is derived by fear of death, starvation, lack of security. If we are close to Allah, we will understand that all these aspects are in the hands of Allah and can only be controlled by Him. and without His will, nothing can harm us. With this in mind, fear of war will fade away.

************************************
four differences that you feel with and without being conscious of Allah.

  1. You will start lying and cheating less often, as you know that even if the person you are trying to deceive doesn't notice and you get away with it but Allah is watching over you. You will be more mindful, concious and sincere with that in mind.
2. You will try to do everything at the level of Ahsaan (the best that you possibly can) as you know that you are getting an ammence amount of rewards for it and that all your efforts won't go unnoticed but greatly benefit you.
3. You will try to be good to others not for the sake of people (for example them being pleased or liking you) but rather for the sake of Allah's pleasure and mercy. You will basically do what you do everyday but your intentions are changed (not for anything in the dunya but rather for Allah). This small difference can make a massive change.
4. We will feel more peaceful, calm and confident as you are not concerned with some of the purposeless problems of the dunya (for example you are not constently expecting things from people because you did a favour from them or you will not feel depressed when people are talking behind your back or not liking or wanting to involve you). These things will matter less to you if you are closer to all and peoples opinions will not greatly anger you as your only priority is pleasing Allah.
***************************************
Three practical ways of practicing contemplation in Salah

1. Sit in a quite place where you are unlikely to be disturbed. This will give you a clear mind and you will be able to focus and concentrat better on your salah, away from all the distractions.
2. Try to recite different and longer surahs and duas in your prayer to make it longer. Do not rush your prayer at any cost because praying to Allah is our top priority, other worldly things can definitelywait . Remember, Allah is not the one who needs our prayer it is us who need this oppurtunity to pray to Him, so make it count and do it with Ahsaan.
3. Try to understand the meaning of the surahs and duas you are reciting in salah. It is not a problem but imagine you are telling something to Allah (SWT) about which you have no idea about. It is better and more beneficial if we try to learn the translation of at least a few surahs which we recite in salah. It will help us in gaining a deeper understanding of what we recite and we will also be able to concentrate in a better way knowing what we are reciting.
****************************************
Verses from the 30 juz mentioning Allah's Mercy, Punishment and Glorification

1. Verse Mentioning Allah's Mercy
Surah: Al-Fatiha
Verse: 3
Arabic version: ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٣
Translation: the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful, (1 : 3)

2. Verse Mentioning Allah's Punishment
Surah: An-Naba
Verse: 30
Arabic version: فَذُوقُوا۟ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ إِلَّا عَذَابًا ٣٠
Translation: ˹So the deniers will be told,˺ “Taste ˹the punishment˺, for all you will get from Us is more torment.” (78 : 30)

3. Verse Mentioning Allah's Glorification
Surah: Al-Fatiha
Verse: 2
Arabic version: ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٢
Translation: All praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds,
****************************************
What would you do in the following scenario's?
How would you follow advice #5 in these two scenarios?
ADVICE #5
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأْمُرْ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَٱنْهَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ
Envourage what is good and forbid what is evil
▫️ Scenario 1: You're attending a wedding function (Mehendi) of a very close friend and she has made arrangements to play a drum while singing songs.

Firstly, I would definitely privatel advice her in a courteous manner to not arrange and include singing songs and playing drums in her wedding function (Mehendi) as it is considered as Lahw practices and are not admired by Allah as he strictly forbid such activities instead some alternatives could be that she can include singing of modest songs or nasheeds without music or shirk and instead of music she can include playing of the daff or beatboxing . If she decides to disregard my advice I will simply not attend or be a part of a gathering or event that encourages such practices. Mehendi itself is not an Islamically encouraged wedding function.
▫️ Scenario 2: Your city is making arrangements for a Grand "Meet and Greet" with a famous Hollywood Celebrity.

I would not spend an enormous amount of money to go to "Meet and Greet" with a famous Hollywood Celebrity instead I could use that money for more beneficial causes like giving charity to people that are really in need and also get the reward from Allah for doing so. I will not gain anything from meeting a so called famous celebrity in this world and the hereafter. I would also advice my friends and basically people I know to not attend such events rather to spend there money, time and energy in more rewarding ways which will actually be satisfactory.
************************************
▫️ From the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), identify ONE instance where he had patience and how can you relate with it.

When the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) first started preaching people towards Islam he faced a lot of challenges (for example he was greatly rediculed, injured by the people and even threatened to be killed and there were several attempts in doing so) however he never lost his faith in Allah and always remained patient. Even when leading people towards the right path he faced alot of opposition from the people but instead of taking revenge on the people by hurting them back, he prayed to Allah for their Mercy and to guide them towards the right path.
This teaches us that whenever someone hurts us verbally, physically or even mentally we are not to take revenge but to simply try to advice them towards the right path to the best of our abilities and pray for their better understanding. Remember the next time someone makes fun of you or not taking your advice the best thing to do is to have patience and just ignore them for Allah will give them the punishment they deserve we need not for Allah is the best Judge.
************************************
