What would you do if the entire world was under the influence of another species?

This is exactly what is happening to underwater ecosystems.

About 1 million marine birds and 100 thousand marine mammals die everyday because of waste.

Plastic is intoxicating 267 animal species: 86 % of marine turtles,44% of marine birds and 43% of marine mammals

SOLUTION

There are some everyday actions you can take to save lives in the sea:

-     Correctly recycle plastic bottles

-     Do not through any kind of rubbish in the sea

-     Decrease the use of plastic cups, cutlery, plates, containers

-     Become informed consumers

-     Support organizations that defend the sea

From 1880 to 2012, the average global temperature increased by 0.85°C. From 1901 to 2010, the global average sea level rose by 19 cm as oceans expanded. Climate change is leading to intense weather changes such as hurricanes, cyclones and earthquakes

Man’s behaviour  is the cause of these climatic problems and the solution we must find ourselves by making small daily gestures like not wasting water.

Did you know that 7000 children die every day because they don't have enough food? There are now 821 million malnourished individuals, ⅔ of whom live in countries experiencing conflict and 51 million who suffer from acute malnutrition, 70% in Asia and 30% in Africa. As a society we need to become awase of the need for a change in our consumption and production model.

SOLUTION

Since  in a country like the USA we produce on average 4.9 pounds of waste per person per day, the first thing we should do is  to recycle already used  items

Did you know that in north Italy we can find one of the worst places in terms of air pollution? In Italy, 8,400 citizens died in just one year because of bad air pollution.

On the other hand, in Trento, which is in the northern east part of Italy, we can find the best air quality. 

We must take steps to control allergens, use air purifiers and reduce humidity and start  from little things, like our school green areas.

So we are sure everybody would be interested in improving our school hallway

SOLUTION

Our solutions are:

-      Improve and expand greenery areas

-      increase the use of electric transport,

-      utilize and build some sort of machine that filters the air

-      place more wind turbines

Poverty is a problem! More than 40,000 people in Italy sleep on the street suffering from climatic conditions. Climate change and natural disasters prevent us from eradicating poverty by condemning the most vulnerable to a  reality that we do not know but that we must take seriously! In 2022 deaths from climate change increased by 50% compared to 2021. In ltaly deaths are 367 more than last year

SOLUTION

It is very important to try to give our contribution to the big problem that is poverty. If we don't help, poor people will continue to die, and that's not fair.

At a general level, the first thing local authorities might  do is build residences for them, at least to reduce the number of people sleeping on the street. They should find ways of providing them with medical care as well safeguard their health, which is constantly being put at risk.

As students we  can  donate the blankets we do not use to help homeless people to face the winter.
